The waistband and shoulder straps distribute your infant's weight over your shoulders, back, waist and hips.

The padded carrier sides prevent chafing to the baby's limbs.

Your little one is free to move their arms and legs, unlike other carriers where the seat extends up to the baby's thighs or wraps that immobilize the baby against your chest or back.
